Sustainability is important to us, not only in terms of terms of supplying customers with clean renewable energy sources, but also in how we run our company. Balancing sustainability principles of economic prosperity, environmental stewardship and social responsibility is at the core of our operations. We are proud to be participants of the Green Core Business Certification.  This certification requires a comprehensive sustainability plan and set of actions, verified by an independent third party.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Both at the office and on the job site our first effort is to reduce the amount of materials used in operations.  We do this at the job site by choosing products with minimal packaging and by making careful calculations to reduce excess project materials.  At the office our printers default to duplex, we actively reduce junk mail and opt for electronic over paper print materials.  We are also able to reduce our trash by composting food scraps.  (It is estimated that 25% of America’s trash is actually compostable.)
